Take-Two Interactive reported 540 million dollars in revenue and 422 million dollars in sales (an increase of 46%) for the first fiscal quarter of 2020. This is much higher than forecasts, which amounted to 310-350 million dollars.
Microtransactions accounted for 67% of total sales. Digital sales accounted for 91% ($ 382 million).
One of the main sources of profit is still GTA Online. After the Diamond Casino & Resort update was released, the game broke its own record for the number of active players. At the same time, sales of GTA V itself exceeded 110 million copies.

Take-Two will release NBA 2K20 and Borderlands 3 in the second fiscal quarter. Together with the rest of the titles, the company expects revenue of between $ 860–910 million.
The publisher raised its forecast for fiscal year 2020 from 2.5 to 2.6-2.7 billion dollars. Revenue should be distributed as follows: 60% – 2K Games, 30% – Rockstar Games and 10% – other subsidiaries.
