The game shows very good results for the tactical Japanese RPG in the UK.
Last week, Fire Emblem ranked first in the UK retail rating: Three Houses – the game has been leading the top 10 for the second time in a row.
As noted Gamesindustry.biz, tactical Japanese RPG shows good results for the title of its genre. Typically, sales of these games fall sharply after a jump in demand.
The demand for Fire Emblem fell by 60%, which is quite a good result for the second week on the shelves.
On the whole, the retail games market in the UK showed a decline throughout the summer – compared to 2018, sales decreased by 15%.
The only novelty in the top 10 was the sports simulator Madden NFL 20. FIFA 19 rose from 5th to 2nd place, and Wolfenstein: Youngblood lost five positions and moved down to rank 8 (61% drop in sales).
