According to analyst firm Sensor Tower, for the seven months since the release in the United States, Tencent’s Arena of Valor game, known in China as Honor of Kings, has been downloaded more than a million times, and American players have spent a total of $ 3 million on it.

Arena of Valor takes only 405 place in the top of the most profitable applications of the American App Store and 679 place – in the top of the most loaded.
Analysts believe that the game did not make a big impression on users in the US, not only because of its specificity, but also because of the sharply increased popularity of the battle royale genre on mobile. Tencent’s MOBA came out in the country just three months before the Fortnite version for iOS, which dragged the attention of the audience.
However, developers continue to develop their game in the western market, including adding exclusive content to it, for example, Batman as one of the heroes.
Honor of Kings was released in China in 2015 and remains one of the most popular games in the homeland. In the summer of 2017, the release of MOBA took place in Europe, and in December in the USA.
