Bill Gates is ready to invest a billion dollars in nuclear power plants

The founder of Microsoft is so concerned about global processes with our planet that, with the support of the US Congress, it agrees to invest a billion dollars of its own savings in the development of new stations.  

In addition, the philanthropist promises to bring another billion through investments in his TerraPower. Founded by Gates, the company is developing a traveling-wave nuclear reactor – such a model will allow to work for decades without refueling. At the same time, there are skeptics: some experts do not see

 much potential in such a reactor due to the high costs of its creation and testing.

Gates is entirely behind nuclear power plants: according to the entrepreneur, this is the only source of energy that can slow climate change.
