New Year’s bonfire in Holland turned into fiery tornado and provoked a fire in the city

At the Dutch seaside resort of Scheveningen, they decided to meet the New Year with a huge bonfire. According to reports in social networks, flames rose to a height of more than 50 meters. Huge sparks scattered around the city, provoked several fires, and fire tornadoes began to form near the fire itself.

Fire damaged some houses, shops, cars and bicycles. With the consequences of the New Year’s fire, local rescuers understood up to 5 in the morning. The local mayor said that the organizers of the event violated the agreement with the city authorities and made the fire more than allowed.

All were collected two fires. According to local media reports, one of them consisted of more than 100,000 wooden pallets and towered 50 meters above the ground.
