Sony has granted Lenovo a license to design its PlayStation VR virtual reality headset. Now the Chinese company will be able to freely release its VR-helmet called Mirage Solo.
The editor of The Verge suggests that Sony has forced Lenovo to make a deal, as it could trigger litigation on patent infringement. Mirage Solo repeats the PlayStation VR form factor.

Riley Russell, Sony’s legal director, said the PS VR design is “the result of the stubborn and long-term work of PlayStation engineers.”
